Park to Park Loop Walk Event

Lace up your sneakers and join us for a Jane's Walk of the Park to Park Loop - a unique route connecting Freeway Park and Yesler Terrace Neighborhood Park.  FHIA is partnering with Feet First to host this free, community-led walk as part of a global movement inspired by urbanist and activist Jane Jacobs, who championed walkable neighborhoods and people-centered cities.

This 1.5 mile, round trip path follows Terry and 8th Avenues, offering a welcoming way to explore First Hill while showcasing the area's rich history and unique amenities. In the spirit of Jane Jacob's work, we'll also learn about FHIA's project turning this Walking Loop into a street concept plan to improve public space, walkability, and community connections.
