Farmers Market Bring Fresh Food to First Hill every Friday
How do you know that summer is well and truly here? Local farmers bring their bounty to First Hill! The First Hill Express Market will be up and running every Friday, so dust off your market tote and clear out your kitchen in preparation for our vendors’ gorgeous summer selections!
First Hill June 19 -Oct. 2 Fridays, 10 am-2 pm 9th & University Street (top of Freeway Park’s Piggot Corridor)
There will be beautiful berries, fragrant flowers and vibrant veggies…plus a tantalizing array of fresh orchard fruits, honey, jams, hot sauces, greek yogurt, freshly-baked biscuits and tasty tamales. Here’s a list of the vendors that you can expect to see.

- Holmquist Hazelnuts – hazelnuts, hazelnut oil & hazelnut butter
Food Stamp Match Program: A SNAP matching program means that anyone using their EBT card (debit card that holds food stamp benefit money) at the information tent for $10 or more in SNAP Fresh Bucks will receive an equal match up to $10 (swipe your card for $10 and receive $20 worth of SNAP Fresh Bucks!). Also, farmers accept WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Coupons.
WHILE SUPPLIES LAST – GET A COLORFUL MARKET TOTE: Spend $15 cash and show your produce at the information tent OR swipe a credit/debit card for $15+ at the information tent and receive our new reusable Pike Place Market tote bag (one per person per visit)… It’s colorful, holds lots of farm fresh produce, and has handy pockets for bouquets and other purchases. If you miss Friday’s market, remember that you can also shop from Pike Place Market farmers in City Hall Plaza on Tuesdays, Pioneer Square on Wednesdays, or South Lake Union on Thursdays.
