National Night Out is an evening of community events held across the county. The intention is to increase public safety and health by getting out into the streets with your neighbors and building community! You can read more about the event at their website. Last year Seattle held over 1,400 registered Night Out events. At least two are registered for First Hill this year!

9th and University: Freeway Park Neighborhood Association is hosting a community Night Out celebration at 9th and University, at the top of the entrance to Piggott Corridor.

Planned activities include bingo (with prizes donated by local businesses), chocolate fondue and BBQ potluck, board games, kite painting, docent tours of Freeway Park and Art Interruptions and information booths from local organizations!

The First Hill Improvement Association is proud to cosponsor this event with our community partners at the Freeway Park Neighborhood Association.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Riisa Conklin at riisa@freewayparkassociation.org
